The Abu Dhabi traffic police on Tuesday announced that all fines imposed on motorists from 22nd December, 2019 to 22nd December, 2020 will be eligible for a 35 percent discount.

However, in order to avail that 35 percent discount, the fine must be paid within the 60 days after it has been issued otherwise the offenders will have to submit the full amount.
This information was made available by Arabic Daily, who also confirmed the payment-with-60-days rule as well.
According to a tweet by Ajman Police, the fines can be paid in person at a service centre, using a Sahl device or using the Ministry of Interior or Ajman Police app.
Furthermore, this discount is also applicable to payment of vehicle impound fees. The 60-days rule is also applicable in this scenario as well.
This scheme will, however, not entertain the fines issued for dangerous offences.
