According to details, the overall score of UAE is 61.8 which is higher than many countries including Spain, Italy, Russia, Malaysia and India. The categories where it performed best include infrastructure (88 points), regulations (86 points), knowledge (69.5 points) and connectivity (63.7 points).
The scope and advantages of this increase in digital companies is highlighted through an analysis by American management consulting firm, McKinsey & Company. According to their analysis, more than 160 million digital users are expected in the Middle East by 2025 that would add around Dh348.65 billion in their economy with annual increase of 3.8% in GDP. There is no doubt that UAE has lion’s share in this digital market of GCC.
Experts are also confident about growth of digital marketing in the country and they are predicting better results in future with adoption of this technology on wider scale. They have the view that political stability & security, strategic location, mix demographics, best infrastructure and social & cultural openness are important factors that are responsible for growth of the said sector in UAE.
