The United Arab Emirates (UAE) residents can now apply for Japan visa free of cost, staff at the Consulate General of Japan in Dubai confirmed.
The consulate’s visa information website states:
The Consulate General of Japan in Dubai is authorised to issue a visa to UAE nationals and other nationals with residential status in the emirates of Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwan, Was Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.
It was informed that the entire visa process is free for all the UAE residents, the website further added.
The usual application charges are Dh100 for single entry, Dh200 for multiple entry, and Dh25 for transit.
